William M. Collom III

William M. Collom III of Alburtis.

William M. Collom III, 72 of Alburtis, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.

He was the husband of Linda R. Duffin Collom.

Born June 23, 1942 in Darby, he was the son of the late William M. Collom Jr. and the late Florence R. Ligatti Collom.

Bill had worked as a Research Technician at Arco Chemical for 23 years.

He previously worked at Firestone Tire & Rubber Company for 18 years where he received the Substantial Suggestion Award for his suggestion to better improve the company.  He was proud to have completed the Delaware State Fire School Training.

He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally. 

Bill enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing and being with his grandson. 

He is survived by his children, Karen Cloak (Brett) of Douglasville, Tamara Collom of Fleetwood; grandson, Alex Cloak; siblings, Florence Collom, Thomas Collom and Susan Eidle.

He was preceded in death by his son, Peter D. Collom and sibling, Stanley Collom.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, 10:00 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Most Blessed Sacrament, 610 Pine St. Bally, PA 19503; where visitation will begin at 9:00am.  

Interment will be Private.
