Thomas F. Gallagher, Jr. of West Chester.

Thomas F. Gallagher, Jr., 65 of West Chester, PA, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home in West Chester.

He was the husband of the late Joan Pepper Gallagher.

Born March 24, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Patricia McMonagle Gallagher of Paoli, and the late Thomas F. Gallagher, Sr.

Thomas was a graduate and an involved Alumni of St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, earning a degree in Food Marketing.

He worked in management for Pathmark from the time he graduated until the early 1990s when he went to work for BJ's Wholesale Club.  There he spent the rest of his career in Operations Management, eventually being appointed Executive V.P. of Operations.

Tom was a member of Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, and loved to golf.  Most of all, he adored his grandchildren. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Christopher Gallagher (Hillary) of Huntersville, NC; siblings, Mark Gallagher (Eileen) of Yardley, Stephen Gallagher (Jeannie) of Glenolden, Barbara Dabitz (Ray) of Downingtown, and Brian Gallagher (Lori) of West Chester; grandchildren, Peyton Gallagher and Jack Gallagher.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 9:30-11:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 East Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382; followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.  

Interment will be private.
