Suanne Phillips Bell

Suanne Phillips Bell, 77 of Westtown, PA passed away on Saturday March 11, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA.  She was the loving wife of Frederick N. “Neil” Bell for 55 years.

Suanne was born in Pittsburgh, PA on April 7, 1939 and was the daughter of the late John A. Phillips and Adelaide Goss Phillips.  At age 10, the family relocated to Wynnewood.  She was a 1957 graduate of Lower Merion High School.  She graduated from Marjorie Webster Junior College, Washington DC and Ohio University, Athens, OH with a Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts.

Suanne acted in local productions at the Swarthmore Players Club and in later years was a Welcome Wagon lady, and volunteered for Art Goes to School and the Riddle Hospital Thrift Shop.  She was also a member of Media Presbyterian Church for 49 years.  Her two granddaughters meant the world to her.  Suanne had a huge heart and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Laurel B. Davis, son-in-law Dwight, and granddaughters Kylee and Maeve all of Wallingford, PA; a sister, Jacqueline P. Stine of Chester Springs, PA; seven nieces; three nephews; and many close cousins.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380; 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com. and her Funeral Service Saturday March 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Media Presbyterian Church, 30 E. Baltimore Pike, Media, PA 19063.

 Interment will be private.
