Rose Marie Filorimo

Rose Marie Filorimo of Westtown Park has died in West Chester at the age of 93.

She was the last surviving one of seven children of the late Antonio Pugliese and the late Nicolina Pugliese.

She was pre-deceased by her brother Johnny and five sisters, Katie, Esther, Milly, Catty, and Francie.

Beloved mother of Anthony Filorimo and daughter-in-law Faye Filorimo, she was pre-deceased by her son Charles Filorimo and her husband of 57 years Peter J. Filorimo. 
She was the loving grandmother of Kelly Peifer, wife of Brian Peifer, and
Steven Filorimo, husband of Abby Filorimo, and of her step-grandchildren April Weirich and the late Craig Weirich. She was great-grandmother to Allyson and Emma Filorimo.  Aunt Rosie to numerous nephews and nieces, and great-aunt 
to many more, she often enjoyed socializing with her extended family. 

In her younger days, she and her husband Pete enjoyed square-dancing events and playing bridge with neighborhood friends.

She had a heart full of compassion for anyone in need and left a lasting impression on anyone she met. 

Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Sat. January 21, 2017 at 10 am
at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 15 E. Pleasant Grove Road, West Chester. 

Interment will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery in West Chester. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 36105.
