Ronald Edward Mattern

Ronald Edward Mattern 56 of West Chester died on Thursday June 1, 2017. Born in Chester PA, on August 31, 1960, he was the son of the late Janet Moyer Mattern and Rodney Mattern.

He grew up in Glenolden and graduated from Interboro High School in 1978. After high school, he went to graduate from Bloomsburg University with a B.S. in Accounting then obtained his Masters of Taxation from Widener University.

He worked as the Manager of International Tax at Saint-Gobain of Malvern PA. Ronald was passionate about his family, fishing, traveling and sports. When he wasn’t coaching his kids, he was always seated front and center cheering them on. 

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife Karen, two sons, Robert and Daniel, daughter Sarah and a large extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday June 9, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 610-696-1181 www.DellaFH.com. Service and Interment will be private.
