Robert P. Williams of Exton.

Robert P. Williams, 76 of Exton, PA died Friday July 14, 2017 at home in Exton.

He was the husband of the late Rosalie Ferretti Williams.

Born May 4, 1941 in Scranton, PA he was the son of the late Paul Williams and the late Lillian Rose Telesha Williams.

Robert had worked as an Industrial Engineer for Sikorski Helicopters, US Motors, Reliance Electric and Rockwell Automation specializing in industrial electric motors eventually leading up the large ac motor division. 

He was an assistant coach for LYA boy’s baseball for a time where his son played.  He loved watching sports, mainly baseball and especially the Phillies who finally won the world series in 2008.  Bob excelled at baseball in his youth and took up judo in the air force where he tried out for the US Olympic team.  He really looked forward to Sunday dinners with the family at his daughter’s house.

He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War era.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele L. O'Connell of West Chester, PA, and his son Robert M. Williams of Downingtown, PA; son in law Wayne O'Connell, granddaughter Erin O'Connell, daughter in law Jennifer Williams and granddaughter Alicia Williams. Also, he is survived by his sister, Paulette Williams Murphy, and brother Richard Williams and spouse Kathy Williams.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 11:30 am - 12:00 noon at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380; 610-696-1181; www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.

Afterwards, the family invites you for a luncheon at the FOP Lodge, 218 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380.
