Robert William Ashby, Jr. of Atglen.

Robert William Ashby, Jr., 42 of Atglen, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at home.

Born July 12, 1975 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of Robert William Ashby, Sr. and Debra G. Mahan Ashby.

Bob was a caring and talented individual. 

He enjoyed working in the Auto Body Industry. 

His hobbies included oil painting, cheering his driver, Jimmie Johnson in NASCAR, playing video games, listening to music, playing guitar, writing songs, and spending time with his cat, Azrael.

He was Junior Fire Fighter of the year at Atglen Fire Co., and a lifetime member of Keystone Valley Fire Co.

We hope and pray, that he is now at peace after his battle with mental illness and alcoholism.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings, Jenn (Rob Williams), Kara, and James.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 9:30 -11:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 am.  

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester.
