Richard "Brad" Bradley

Richard M. “Brad” Bradley, 66 of West Chester, PA died Sunday August 2, 2015 at Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA.

He was the husband of Wendy Baird Bradley, whom he shared 30 years of marriage.

Born March 3, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Joseph Bradley and Eleanor Boyle Bradley.

Brad had a long career as the warehouse Manager at Tri-State/Chesapeake Rim and Wheel.

As a young man, he was an altar boy and sang as a soloist in the men and boys choir at St. Francis de Sales Church.

He had a long affiliation and love of football: Hall of Fame West Catholic High School (1965 City Title), Hall of Fame Wesley College then transferred to play at East Carolina. Richard also gave back coaching at West and North Catholic and Mastbaum. Later in life a committee member for Wesley College Hall of Fame.

Contracting Guillain-Barré Syndrome in 1993, he volunteered and supported the GBS foundation in many ways. Brad loved cruising and the Caribbean. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his siblings, Connie McKenzie, Marylee Conallen, John Bradley, a niece, Amy Baird, nephews, Michael Baird, John Bradley, Kevin, James, Brian and Daniel Conallen, and two daughters from prior marriage, Shannon & Megan.

He was preceded in death by brother, James Bradley

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Wednesday August 5, 2015 at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380. And also from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Thursday August 6, 2015 at the Funeral Home: followed by his Funeral Service which begins at 10:00am

Interment will be held at Bethlehem Methodist Cemetery.
