Richard Norton Johnson

Richard N. Johnson of Hulmeville, PA.

Richard Norton Johnson, 90 of Hulmeville, formerly of West Chester, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.

Born November 18, 1927 in Marshallton, PA, he was the son of the late Norton Johnson and the late Gertrude Baldwin Johnson.

Richard "Dick" lived in West Chester through the mid 1990's.

He was employed by Stats Oil, then Delchester Oil until his retirement.

Richard enjoyed a very social life around West Chester, where many of his friends called him by the nickname “Rubber Lips” for his love to talk.  After suffering a paralyzing stroke, Richard relocated to Hulmeville to be cared for by his son Rick.

Richard is survived by his remaining sister, Florence Laffey of Cochranville; sons, Richard and William Johnson; grandchildren, Kristine Maser, Jonathan Johnson and Melanie Johnson; great grandchildren, Trent and Lucas Maser, Cora and Adler Johnson, and Wade Johnson.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Graveside Service at 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Bradford Cemetery, 521 Northbrook Rd. West Chester, PA 19382.
