Ralph E. Marcellus, Sr. of West Chester.

Ralph E. Marcellus, Sr., 90 of West Chester, PA, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at home.

He was the husband of the late Josephine Tanagleo Marcellus and the late Virginia Hill Marcellus.

Born May 16, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Edith Buckley Marcellus.

Ralph proudly served his country during WWII, and was honorably discharged from the Army.

He worked in the construction field for many years.

Ralph enjoyed hunting and shooting.

He is survived by his sons, Ralph E. Marcellus Jr. (Celeste) of Chadds Ford, and Arthur N. Marcellus (Mary) of West Chester; grandchildren, Chloe, Courtney and Sean; Also, by his sisters, Dee and Pearl.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFh.com; followed by his Memorial Service at 11:00am.

Interment will be private.
