Philip Wasson Neff, Jr., 77 of West
Chester, PA, passed away in his sleep on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
He was the husband of the late
Dorothy Ruth Neff.
Born August 10, 1940 in
Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Philip Wasson Neff and the late
Mary Yearsley Hoopes Neff.
Philip was a 1958 graduate of West
Chester Joint High School and attended Grove City College.
He was a member of Boy Scout Troop
6 in West Chester and obtained the rank of Eagle Scout.
He worked in the Mushroom industry
for over 30 years and later as a house painter.
A lifelong West Chester resident, Philip
enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bridge and attending Penn State football games. He was a member of the former Brandywine
Fishing Club in Lake Pocono, PA and the YAG Club in Kennett Square.
Most of all, he loved spending time
with family and his many local friends.
He is survived by his children,
Ginnie Mosher, Polly McCullough, Philip Wasson Neff III and Tim Neff;
grandchildren, Wills, Caroline, Charlotte, Claire, Dorothy and Malin.
Relatives and Friends are invited
to his visitation on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the
DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church

am.
Interment will be private.
