Peggy L. Westwood, age 56, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Thursday September 7, 2017 at Chester County Hospital after a long battle with health complications caused by PKD.

She was born on February 5th, 1961 in Washington D.C to Mary Beckelman and the late Robert Beckelman.

She spent her childhood in Edgewater, Maryland and moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania in her teenage years. Peggy was a graduate of the Henderson Senior High School class of 1979.

She was married to husband Robert Westwood and recently celebrated their 36th anniversary.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her children Micheal Westwood, Ginny Westwood and Devon Westwood; sisters Pam Marquette, Robin Smith, Kim McCrudden, brother Bobby John Beckelman and her many nieces and nephews.

Peggy was determined, happy and kind. Her smile was contagious and was loved by everyone that met her. Even through her illness she made the best of her life. From the Niagara Falls to the Bahamas she never turned down an adventure. She loved the outdoors and always found a way to soak up the sun whether it was sitting in the back yard or sitting on the beach. She spread love and laughter and was always there for her family and friends. She was an outstanding mother, wife, and friend. She impacted the lives of many and made the world a brighter place. 

Services and Interment will be private
