Nancy B Anthony, 86, of Phoenixville Pa died on Wednesday March 25th 2015 at First Seasons Hospice and Pallative Care in Phoenixville Pa. Nancy lived most of her live in Wayne, Pa.

She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Anthony Jr who died September 30 2002. They were married for 51 years.

She was the daughter of the late Paul Lavery Brunstether and Mabel Metz Brunstetter.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Grimes.

Mom was born in Harrisburg, PA and grew up in Orangeville and Catawissa, Pa. She graduated from Bloomsburg State Teacher's College in 1950 with a BA degree in English and Speech Therapy.

Nancy taught speech therapy and  English as a Second Language for over 25 years in Cheltenham Township School District. She had a private practice from speech therapy assisting stroke patients with learning to speak again.  She also worked with children who had speech impediments due to disabilities.

Nancy was a Brownie Troop Leader  and involved in Girl Scouts for many years. She was a Girl Scout cookie chairman. 

Nancy was a member of Eastern Star, Radnor Chapter, Past Mother Advisor Order of Rainbow for Girls, Great Valley Assembly #82 in Berwyn, PA.

She was a member of the St. Matthew's United Methodist Church where she was very active for many years.

Nancy is survived by her "4 girls " as she called them, Jane E. Anthony-Wolff of Downingtown, PA, Joanne A.Barlow of Phoenixville, PA, Janice Ann Stoudemire and her husband Thom of Lexington S.C. and Judith A Cassell and her husband James, Devon Pa. She is survived by her grandchildren Jessica-Anne and Ryan Stoudemire of Lexington, S.C. Nancy is also survived by her beloved "puppy grandchildren" Bella, Bailey and Allie.

Graveside services and interment will be at 1 pm  on Wednesday, April 1st 2015 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville Pa.

In lieu of flowers contributions made be made to Mom's favorite charity American Cancer Society.
