Michael Kowal, Jr. of Coatesville.

Michael Kowal, Jr., 67 of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 On Lake Oneida, NY.

He was the husband of Phyllis Taylor Kowal with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

Born November 17, 1949 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Michael Kowal, Sr. and the late Loretta Zeleski Kowal.

Mike had a love for the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling all over the country in his Peterbilt while he was working. he was an owner-operator Truck Driver for 37 years.   

Mike was a member of the Delaware Valley Bass Club for many years.  He had so many fishing buddies that will miss him greatly.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michelle (Lee) and Michael; granddaughters, Amber and Amanda, great grandsons, Jonathan and Robert.  Also, he is survived by his brother Ronald and a sister Joan Wood.  He had many other relatives and friends that will miss him.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 9:00 -11:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 am. 

Interment will be held private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask for donations be made to the funeral home at the above address for his burial expenses.
