Mark Perkins, 59, died on Monday at his home.

Mark served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years aboard the USS SCHENECTADY (LST 1185) as a Boatswain's Mate from 1974 - 1978, and served in the PA Army National Guard in Co A 2nd 111th Inf. Regiment from 1987 - 1995.  

He graduated from Henderson Senior High School and worked at CTDI for over 33 years.

Mark will be forever remembered for his loving spirit, sense of humor and generosity. He always wanted people around him to have a good time and enjoyed making people laugh. Mark spent his childhood summers with family in St. Louis. He was happiest when spending time with his sons, grandchildren, family and friends. 

He was an Exton Little League coach and enjoyed attending Phillies games. Loved country music – especially Hank Williams. Mark was a master vegetable gardener and enjoyed canning his crops with his best friend Debbie Rivello. 

Mark was the son of Dorothy Perkins and was preceded in death by his father Fred Perkins.
Mark was the father of TSgt Carl Perkins of Altus, OK, serving in the U.S. Air Force (Jennifer) and Cole Perkins of Parkesburg (Kyleigh); sister to Ann Perkins DiStefano (Tom) of Lewisburg, and brother to David Perkins (Carl) of San Diego, CA. He had five grandchildren Adeline, Aiden, Kylie, Sienna and Isabelle.
