Marie A. Hanby

Marie A. Hanby, 91 of West Chester, PA died Monday April 16, 2018 at Wellington Terrace in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Charles H. Hanby.

Born March 11, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late John Maucieri and the late Marguerite Witte Maucieri.

Marie was a teller at the former First National Bank of West Chester.

Coming from Glenolden, Marie lived in West Chester since 1966.  She volunteered for the American Red Cross, St. Agnes Church and was a former member of the AARP. She enjoyed crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and sudoku. She will be remembered as a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Charles C. Hanby of Philadelphia, Catherine E. Hanby and her wife Nancy Gamburd, of Chicago, IL, Laurence H. Hanby and his wife Milynn Swofford of Colorado Springs, CO, Victoria A. Gibley of Reading, PA, David A. Hanby and his wife Jan of Cornelius, NC, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Therese Boesenhofer of Hatfield, PA

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dominic, Tom and Jack Maucueri, and sister, Margaret Doccy.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, 610-696-1181 www. DellaFH.com. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 pm Friday April 20, 2018 at the St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester PA 19380 

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
