Maria T. Gotthold

Maria T. Gotthold of West Chester.

Maria T. Gotthold, 93 of West Chester, died Thursday, February 19, 2015 at home.

She was the wife of the late Thomas B. Gotthold.

Born May 3, 1921 in Philadelphia, she was the youngest of six children to the late Silvio Liberatore and the late Eufemia Albanese Liberatore.

She earned her G.E.D. late in life at the age of 65.

Maria enlisted in the US Navy Waves during WWII, and served for 2 years.

She loved cooking.

Maria is survived by her children, Thomas W. Gotthold (Carol) of West Chester, David Gotthold (Kathy) of Vineland, NJ, Douglas Gotthold of Woodbine, NJ; grandchildren, Thomas II, Sarah, Jane-Marie, David, Paul and Lindsay, and great grandchildren, Haley, Luke and Angelo.

Interment will be private at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler.
