Margaret Mary Maguire

Margaret Mary (Salmon) Maguire, 96 of West Chester, PA died Mon. Jan. 15, 2018 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late John Francis Maguire, Jr. with whom she wed on November 6, 1943 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Phiadelphia, PA.

Born Jan. 14, 1922 in New Britain, Connecticut, to the late Daniel Edward and Ella Josephine Doyle Salmon.

Peg was a graduate of West Catholic High School, and a longtime member of St. Norbert Parish in Paoli, PA. She was a 35-year volunteer at Paoli Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her children John F. Maguire III (Alice Ribikauskas) of West Chester, Daniel P. Maguire of Malvern, Mary Maguire Renninger (Ralph) of Hereford, and son-in-law Edward McGuire of Exton; grandchildren Jeffery McGuire (Michelle) of Harrisburg, Debra Tack (Simon) of State College, Karen Talley (Dennis) of Wilmington, DE, John McGuire of Exton, Kristin DeFrancesco (Richard) of West Chester,  Megan Schell (Mark) of West Chester, Jessica Bouboulis (Eric) of Chicago, IL, Denise Bouboulis, (Mehmet) of Madison, WI, Rebecca Flaherty (Jamie) of Pottstown, Matthew Bouboulis, (Sarah) of Newark, DE. Great Grandchildren, Kelly McGuire, Luke McGuire, Sean McGuire, Kirsten Woolpert, Jordan Woolpert, Alexander DeFrancesco, Liliana DeFrancesco, Charlotte Schell, James Schell, Hannah Tack, Nathan Tack, Lydia Tack, John Tack, Marissa Tack, Margaret “Maggie” Flaherty, James Patrick Flaherty, Iris Bouboulis

Predeceased by her daughter Ruth Ellen Maguire McGuire, daughter-in-law Amy Kipe Maguire and siblings, Donald Salmon and Leona Bergin.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 10-11am at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
