Louise D. Tyson

Louise Doutrich Tyson died Nov. 23, 2016.

She was born in Hummelstown, PA March 28, 1931 to the late J. Herman Doutrich and Ada E. Shuey Doutrich.

Louise graduated from Hummelstown High School in 1949. She was active in the Zion Lutheran Church as an assistant organist and Sunday school teacher. She attended West Chester State Teachers College.

Louise was very active in Girl Scouting starting when her daughter was in third grade. Louise also served as President of the Delaware County Council and on the Board of Directors.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Tyson, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Cornell, son-in-law, Ray Cornell and grandson Edward James Cornell.

Interment will be private in Hummelstown Cemetery.
