Linda J. Reilly, 77 of West Chester, passed away on December 21, 2017 surrounded by her family and loving husband of 59 years, James L. Reilly.

Born May 18, 1940 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Eugene McCausland and the late Christine Doherty and step-father the late Ezekiel Doherty.

She was raised by the Clark family of Frazer, PA on what was affectionately called the “Clark Farm” or simply “The Clark’s” by George, Edward, James and the dear Esther and Catherine Clark.

Linda was a prominent figure at many Theatres throughout the years. Performing, Directing and because Linda was an accomplished Seamstress, she did all of the Costumes too! She helped Radnor High School with the Production and Costumes for the final time last year in their Production of “Wizard of Oz”, she struggles but it was her passion. She also did countless Wedding Gowns and Bridesmaids Gowns, including her Granddaughter’s as recent as October of this year. She worked her passion to the end.

Her main years in the Theatre were at the Three Little Bakers, where she performed countless roles. Most notably on the stage though were perhaps, Golda in “The Fiddler on the Roof,” Mother Superior in “The Sound of Music” and her personal favorite Bloody Mary in “South Pacific.” Her beautiful voice and powerful stage presence were absolutely professional and inspiring. She was the consummate professional. She won the Barney Award in 2012 for “Best Costumes” for “Miss Saigon.” Her last stage performance was in late 2012.

Linda was a founding member of the SS. Philip and James Church.  She was a member of Business and Professional Women’s Club and the 49ers Choir Group. She was a volunteer for 10 years at Neighborhood Hospice, her spirit never died. Linda's life shined on many people, and mentored many with singing, acting and the spirit of life in general.
