Kathryn A. Walser, 76 of Chadds Ford, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Fauquier County Hospital in Warrenton, VA.
She was the wife of the late F. Bryant Walser, Jr.
Born August 9, 1941 in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Claude Carpenter and Kathryn Lucas Carpenter.
Kathryn graduated from West Catholic Girls school and worked as a clerk for A&P, and Superfresh Supermarkets. Most recently retiring from CNC Manufacturing in Coatesville, Pa where she was the Shipping Manager.
Kathryn loved to travel with her family and friends. Kathryn enjoyed volunteering with the Kennett Square Senior Center where she was recognized as Volunteer of the year in 2015.
Kathryn is survived by her sister Dr. Claudia McCarty, Brother and Sister-in-laws Dave and Sally Walser, and brother-in-law Lane Poole. She is survived by her children F. Bryant Walser Jr., JoAnne E. Walser; Thomas C. Walser and wife Gina Prince, Anne-Marie Walser-Schmid and her husband David. Grandchildren Elizabeth LaRue and her husband Chris, Kenneth Walser, along with Bryant and Geoffrey Schmid. Great Grandson Wesley LaRue, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband F. Bryant Walser, her sisters Penny Brogan, and JoEllen Tobin, and brothers John and Michael Carpenter.
Relative and friends are invited to her visitation from 6:00-8:00pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 N. Church St., West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com and from 9:00-10:00am on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay St.. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00am.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
