Joan Ann Logue

Joan Ann Logue, 80 of Thornton, PA, died Monday, July 20, 2015 at home.

She was the wife of the late James P. Logue.

Joan was born March 5, 1935 in Glenolden, PA, she was the daughter of the late Egbert A. Keenan and the late Marion Neumiller Keenan.

She was a recent member of St. Maximillian Kolbe Church in West Chester and previously a long-standing member of SS. Peter & Paul Church in West Chester.

Joan was a devoted mother, wife, sister, and grandmother who never failed to serve her family in a loving way throughout her lifetime. Family was always her first priority in life.

Her other interests included visiting the beach in Sea Isle City and Townsends Inlet, NJ, visiting area casinos with friends and playing the slots, reading, baking cookies, and looking after the welfare of animals.

Joan is survived by her sister Roberta Benner, daughter Denise Smith, son James Logue, son Kevin Logue, daughter Marian Lorenz, son-in-law Joel Lorenz, daughter-in-law Regina Logue, and granddaughters Kassandra, Marissa, Danielle, Alison, and Rebecca.

She is predeceased by her sisters Marion, Bernice, Eileen, and her brother Harry.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, 11:00am on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Chester, PA 19380. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd from 6-8pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380;610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com and on Thursday, July 23rd from 9:30-11:00am at the above church.

Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19382.
