Jeanne Fretz Ballinger

Jeanne Fretz Ballinger, 89, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2017 surrounded by her family and her faith.

She follows her husband Kenneth E. Ballinger and her brother Charles (Bud) Fretz into the Church Triumphant and leaves behind their four sons, Kenneth Jr., William, Franklin and John. 

She was raised in Haddonfield, NJ, by her parents C. Franklin and Katherine Fretz.

Jeanne raised her family in Basking Ridge, NJ, where she was a devout member of the Presbyterian Church, an elementary school special education assistant, and an active member of the community.

After retirement, Jeanne and Ken retired to Hilton Head Island, then Jekyll Island and Beech Mountain, NC where they pursued their life long enthusiasm for tennis, golf, and community involvement. 

Along with her four sons, Jeanne leaves behind her two sisters, Kae Fretz and Molly Stevens, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Rd., West Chester, PA 19382.

Interment will be private

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to her favorite charity, the Memorial Garden Fund of Westminster Presbyterian Church, at the above address.
