Jane B.  Crowley of Dover, DE.

Jane B.  Crowley, 87 of Dover, DE, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 at Kent General Hospital in Dover.

She was the wife of the late John A. Crowley, Jr.

Born December 17, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late James Bloxson and the late Alice Merkel Bloxsom.

She was a member of The Good Shepherd Luthernan Church in Wilmington, DE.

During retirement, Jane and her husband owned a Bed and Breakfast.  Prior to that, she worked for attorneys in Philadelphia, the Army in Maryland, ICI America and DuPont Company in Delaware. She also was a guide at Winterthur Museum and the Rockwood Museum.

Jane enjoyed volunteering at an Art Gallery in Luther Towers, and helping to feed the homeless at the Emmanuel Dining Room, both in Wilmington, DE. 

She is survived by her children, John A. Crowley III of Wilmington, DE, and Brian J. Crowley (Carmen) of Dover, DE; grandchildren, Daniel Crowley and Jessica Crompton both of Wilmington, DE; and her sister, Alice Kay Thomas of LePorte, PA.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Memorial Service at 12Noon on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1530 Foulk Rd. (Route 261), Wilmington, DE 19803.

Interment was held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at the above address.
