Jack R. Lantz, Sr.

Jack R. Lantz, Sr., 77, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at his home.

He was the loving husband of Linda L. Troutman Lantz for 57 years.

Born July 25, 1940 in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late John Lantz and the late Betty Weiler Lantz.

Jack graduated from Mt. Penn High School in 1958, received his BS from Elizabethtown College in 1962.

He was President and Co-owner of K.T.& D Insurance Company, retiring in 2010.

Jack was a long time active member of the Brandywine Rotary, Independent Insurance Agents Association of Delaware, and the YMCA.  He was a member of the West Chester United Methodist Church where he enjoyed teaching disciple classes, was Communion Coordinator and served as an usher.

Jack was an avid golfer, and a member of Radley Run Country Club. He was a fan of Phillies baseball and college basketball. Jack completed several Bike to the Bay MS bike rides. His happiest times were spent surrounded by his family members.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three children, Jack Jr., Timothy and Rebecca, daughter in law Gina, son in law Thomas, and three grandchildren, Megan, Robert and Owen.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12:00-1:00pm at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by his Memorial Service at 1:00pm.

Interment will be private.
