Herbert Elwood "Tiny" Phipps

Herbert Elwood Phipps "Tiny", 71 of Coatesville, PA, went home to be with his son, and parents late Tuesday evening July 25, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was the husband of Linda J. Phipps with whom he shared almost 50 years of marriage.

Herbert was the son of the late Elwood Phipps and the late Ruth Jennings Phipps.

Living in Levittown, PA for over 50 years, he recently moved to Coatesville to live out his life with his family.

He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1965.

Herbert worked as a Foreman at United States Steel Fairless Works for 20 years.

He loved hunting, fishing and drag racing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 2 children, Michael and Tina; 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Jazmyn, Dayvon, Tyrel, Jayda, and Symara, and one great grandson Leonardo.

He was preceded in death by a son, late Michael R. Phipps.

Services and Interment will be private.
