Helene A. Pryslak

Helene A. Pryslak, 97, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Ogden, PA and West Melbourne, FL, died Friday June 17, 2016 at Barclay Friends in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late John Pryslak to whom she was married for 72 years.

Born October 12, 1918 in Rahway, NJ she was the daughter of the late Leo Koncelik and the late Louisa Kuizek Koncelik.

Helene had worked as a teaching aide for The Old Forge School in Lima, PA.

Helene was a member of St. Martins Episcopal Church in Boothwyn, PA and later Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Melbourne, Florida.  Most recently she was part of The Church of the Holy Trinity in West Chester, PA.

Helene loved her extended family and remembered birthdays and anniversaries of brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.  She always remembered and made special note of 13th, 16th, and 21st birthdays. She loved to travel and did so with friends and family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jane Pryslak Fenicle (George) of West Chester, PA; her grandchildren, John Davidson (Katie), Geoffrey Davidson, Christopher Davidson (Jill), Jennifer D. Lawrence (Dan) and four great-grandchildren, Zane, Dylan, Eva, and Aaron.   

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Elizabeth Davidson, her sister, Anne and her two brothers, George and Leo.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her memorial service on July 23, 2016 at 11 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Trinity 212 S. High St. West Chester, PA 19382. 

Interment and funeral service will be held at her church in Melbourne, Florida at a time and date yet to be determined.
