George S. Dewees

George S. Dewees of Downingtown.

George S. Dewees, 67 of Downingtown, PA died Tuesday July 19, 2016 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Born March 4, 1949 in Bryn Mawr, PA he was the son of the late G. Malcolm Dewees and the late Jane Stiteler Dewees.

George was a graduate of Penncrest High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Weidner University and his Master's Degree from St. Joseph's University.

George was an accountant for Genesis Health Care.

He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association; Chester County Camera Club and the Philadelphia Zoo. He enjoyed attending car races across the USA.

He is survived by his children Brittany J. Dewees and Peter G. Dewees both of Downingtown, PA, sister, Lynne S. Dewees of Media, PA

Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380; followed by his Funeral Service at 10:00 am.

Interment will be held in Green Mount Cemetery, West Chester, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Rd., Lititz, PA 17543.
