Erin E. Gilchrist

Erin E. Gilchrist of Downingtown.

Erin E. Gilchrist, 58 of Downingtown, PA, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville.

She was the wife of William K. Gilchrist.

Born December 5, 1958 in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of the late Carl Kulp and the late Vena Molloy Kulp.

Erin loved working with her hands, and drawling.  She was known as the neighborhood mother figure.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kyle Gilchrist and Jason Packard both of Downingtown; siblings, Ed Kulp of West Chester, Lavena Kulp of Memphis, TX, and Carl "Buck" Kulp of St. Louis, MO; and grandson, Michael Vance Packard.

She was preceded in death by her nephews, Kevin Launi, Kelly Launi and John Launi.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc., 410 North Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFH.com; followed by her Celebration of Life at 11:00 am.  

Interment will be private.
