Elizabeth (Janet) Cistone

Elizabeth (Janet) Cistone, 88, of Glen Mills, PA passed away on December 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Anthony, of 63 years and her three children Cathy (Tim), Stephen and Susan, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren children. She is also survived by her sister, Alice.

Janet was born in Harrisburg, PA on July 10, 1929, graduated from Frankfort High School in Philadelphia, PA. From there, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Beaver College (now Arcadia College).

Janet was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of West Chester, PA., where she attended services regularly. Janet loved to read, knit, and travel with her husband. Janet was a loving, compassionate and positive woman, always teaching her family and friends to look to the brighter side.

Janet enjoyed the simple things in life, family, friends, rainbows, fields of daffodils and the sight of a hawk flying. Each morning she thanked god for another day and believed Love is the key to a successful life…Love God, Love yourself, Love others and Love what you are doing.
