Donald L. Souder of Mechanicsburg, PA.

Donald L. Souder, 64 of Mechanicsburg, PA died Sunday November 15, 2015 at The Solana Willistown in West Chester, where he resided since May of this year.

He was the husband of the late Peggy Souder.

Don was born February 15, 1951 in Carlisle, PA he was the son of the late Arthur D. Souder and the late Dorothy L. Tanger Souder.

Don was a devoted and active member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Boiling Springs, PA where he served on several committees. His compassion for others was further evident in his service as a former board member of the United Methodist Children's Home in Camp Hill, PA.

Don enjoyed sharing his life with Peggy through camping, hiking, cruising and photography and was a member of the Triumph Car Club, where he developed tours of Pennsylvania covered bridges for the group.

He is survived by his brother, Paul A. Souder and his wife Alyene, sister, Susan V. Souder and her husband Tony Abata, niece, Jennifer Richard and her husband Joseph Grabiac, great niece, Eliza Richard, great nephews, Lucas and Christopher Grabiac.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia "Patti" Fry, brother, Roger Souder and great nephew, Jonah Richard.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his Memorial Service, 1:30 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Otterbein United Methodist Church, 647 Forge Rd., Carlisle, PA 17015.

Interment will be private.
