Debbie McGuire of West Grove

Deborah “Debbie” Barr McGuire, 64, of West Grove, PA, passed peacefully in her home on May 3, 2016. Her husband of 41 years, Terry, was by her side.

Born on October 13, 1951, Debbie spent most of her life living in West Chester, PA where she graduated from West Chester Henderson High School and West Chester University. In this community that she adored, Debbie continued on to raise her own children with Terry while working at a local doctor’s office for over 35 years.

Debbie was known for being a dedicated and caring friend, a loving and devoted wife and mother, and the proud Mom-Mom to her two grandchildren. She spent much of her free time at her sewing machine or in the kitchen, where she enjoyed baking treats for her friends and family.

Debbie is survived by her husband Terry, daughter Mandy, her husband DJ, and their children Ryan and Emily, son Mike and his fiancé Christie, parents Harry and Nancy Barr, brother Harry and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am at Willistown United Methodist Church, 6051 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073; followed by her Memorial Service celebration at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
