What a beautifully written obituary. So thoughtful, just like David. Our hearts go out to the whole family, especially Sarah. It's soothing to know that he was surrounded by loved ones, passing on his own terms. It's hard to believe he's no longer with us. He will never be forgotten. We will be at the memorial service. I am so sorry that I will not be able to be at the meeting on saturday to say good bye to Mr. Darlington. I remember him out on the tractor and working in the barn at milking time when we would come collect a calf to raise up. I also had the pleasure of seeing him several times at Hagley when I would go walk on the grounds at lunch time during my time at DuPont. My deepest condolences to all of his family. I know you all have wonderful memories of him to hold in your heart.
