Constance T. Bompadre of Media.

Constance T. Bompadre, 84 of Media, PA died Thursday August 20, 2015 at Wesley Enhanced Living in Media.

She was the wife of the late William J. Bompadre.

Born September 29, 1930 in Wayne, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Tiernan and the late Jane E. McGrogran Tiernan.

Constance was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Chester, PA.

She was a graduate of Chester County Hospital School of Nursing, where she worked as a Registered Nurse, for many years she was a head nurse at Chester County Hospital.

She was an avid golfer and a member of the West Chester Golf and Country Club, where she previously served on the Board of Directors.

Constance became an advocate for mentally handicapped adults, as a result of her care for her late son Blaise.

She is survived by her daughter, Constance E. Bompadre and partner Diane of Thornton, son, Adam W. Bompadre and wife Marian of Douglassville, grandchildren, Megan, Blaise and Alexis Bompadre; Amanda, David and Samantha Jones, brother, Edward Tiernan and wife Susan of West Chester, sister-in law, Angelina Tavani of Lansdale.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by son, Blaise Bompadre and sister Jayne Bongiorno

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:00 am-10:00 am Monday, August 24, 2015 at St. Agnes Church 233 W. Gay St. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery West Chester PA.
