Concetta O. "Connie" Bannan of West Chester.

Concetta O. "Connie" Bannan, 81 of West Chester, PA died Sunday August 30, 2015 at Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit in West Chester.

She was the loving wife of the late Gerard T. "Jerry" Bannan.

Born February 19, 1934 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Herbert Ogborn and the late Sainty Gara Ogborn.

She was a member of St. Agnes Church and a 1952 graduate of St. Agnes High School.

Connie had worked as an Administrative Assistant for West Chester University in the Athletic Department, but her passion was enjoying life, family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas A. Bannan (Debbie) of Downingtown, PA, James P. Bannan (Julie) of Exton, PA, daughter, Brenda Bannan (Stephen W. Dejter, Jr.) of Arlington, VA., grandchildren, Courtney Herzog (Steve), Christopher Bannan (Christina), Andrew Bannan (Kate), Cassidy Bannan, Tristan Ritland, Calla Ritland, great grandchildren, Emma & Brady Herzog, Grayson Bannan, Kevin & Kimberly Bannan, brother, John P. (Joy) Ogborn.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Ogborn.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her Visitation 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday, September 4, 2015 at St. Agnes Church, 233 West Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, celebrated by her friend and classmate, Reverend Msgr. Andrew Treston.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bishop Shanahan High School, 220 Woodbine Road, Downingtown, PA 19335.
