Amanda Jo Jefferis

Amanda Jo Jefferis, 44, of Madison, CT and formerly of West Chester, PA died Monday May 18, 2015 in Madison, CT. 

She was born in West Chester, PA and was the daughter of James D. Jefferis of West Chester and the late Martha Rhodewalt.

Amanda was Presbyterian by faith.

She graduated from West Chester Henderson High School in 1989.  She attended Bentley College in Waltham, MA for 2 years and graduated from Smith College in Northampton, MA.

She then earned a double Master’s Degree in Business and Gerontology from University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA.

Amanda was an executive at United Healthcare.

She enjoyed sailing and especially loved her St. Bernard dog, Susy.

In addition to her father she is survived by her sister, Jennifer L. Bethke of Northampton, PA; sister, Krysten E. Jefferis of Milan, TN and brother Bradley J. Jefferis of West Chester, PA; grandmother Annetta M. Jefferis of West Chester, PA; grandmother, Virginia Hardy of Oxford, PA; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services and interment will be private.
