Alma E. Parsons of West Chester.

Alma E. Parsons, 99 of West Chester, PA died on Monday, December 5, 2016 at Wellington Court in West Chester.

She was the wife of the late Eugene Dallam Parsons.

Born March 23, 1917 in Astoria, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edgar G. Sibler and the late Anna O'Hern Sibler.

Prior to her retirement, Alma worked as an Administrative Assistant for Cigna Corporation.

Alma was an avid bridge player, Skip-Bo player and reader.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing and most of all, loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn A. Parsons (Dr. Robert L. Parsons) of West Chester; grandchildren, Amy Parsons, Kevin Parsons (Lisa), Jessica Minchak (Justin), and Sean Parsons (Lauren); great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Tanner, Lexi, Haiden, Eve and Luella.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Chester, PA 19380; followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, West Chester, PA.
