Alana Josephine Maddox of West Chester

Alana Josephine Maddox, 23 of West Chester, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Penn Presbyterian Health Center in Philadelphia.

Born September 26, 1993 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Ernest T. Maddox III (Barbara Thomas) and Donna Rogers Maddox all of West Chester, PA.

Alana graduated from Drexel University on June 11, 2017 where she received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance and Marketing.   

She formally worked for Franklin Square Investments.

Alana was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity, Beta Tau Chapter, Drexel Finance & Investment Group, Drexel Marketing Association, and Drexel Women in Business.

She enjoyed drawing and painting, fashion, music, running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Briana, and her brother Samuel; Grandparents James and Bernice (Malloy) Rogers; maternal aunts and uncles, James and Jeanmarie (Romito) Rogers of Cheltenham, PA, John and Lisa (Mace) Rogers of St. Paul, Minnesota, Joseph and Linda (Rogers) Widmeier of Cheltenham, PA, Patrick and Bernice (Rogers) Mintzer of Havertown, PA; Paternal Aunts and Uncles, Donna (Wampner) and David Weis of Upland, IN, David Wampner, of Gas City, IN, and Deborah (Wampner) and Stan Willhide of Upland, IN.

Predeceased by her Grandparents Ernest T. and Virginia (Coats) Maddox Jr. of Marion, IN.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 6-9pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home, Inc. 410 N. Church St. West Chester, PA 19380, 610-696-1181, www.DellaFh.com; and from 9-10:30am on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at SS. Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382; followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00am.

Interment will be private.
