My sympathy to Mr. Lightner's family!
We had corresponded a few times concerning our mutual love for Jim Varney, AKA Ernest P Worrall. Mr. Lightner had sent me some "Ernest" paraphernalia that I treasure to this day. He was a very kind man!

I'm sending huge love and hugs to you all, Karen, Kevin, Laurie and family in this tender time. Your dad was an exceptionally remarkable man who lived life to the fullest and gave back to his communities. You are all testimonies to him.

I am so sorry to hear about Roy's passing. Although I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times ,he was delightful and so kind. I appreciate all the family history he has provided for us through the years and looked forward to his annual Christmas letters. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Love,

Oh Karen, Kevin & Laurie our hearts are breaking for you. The three of you "kids" were raised by two of the very best people we have ever known. It is heartbreaking to say goodbye to your beloved father, but you all gave him so much of your love and time and as a parent, the End Game, you gave him was more priceless than a pot of gold.! He was blessed and his heart must have swored with joy and thanksgiving for his wonderful family. Your dad was truly a gentlemen of the highest caliber. Now, at last, he is with his adored & beloved wife Betty. Thank you Jesus for this assurance. I will see you tomorrow. Rhonda
