Kathryn Jones Obituary

Kathryn E. Jones, 71, passed away Tuesday March 26, 2024 at West Reading Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in West Reading, Pennsylvania.

Born September 22, 1952 in Frankfurt, Germany she was the daughter of the late James F. Jones and Elizabeth M. Politz Jones.

Kathe grew up in California, Pennsylvania, and Germany. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown, PA in 1970.

She worked for the US Army and La Quinta motels. Later, she was a merchandiser for Hallmark. She lived in Texas for over 20 years and moved to Oxford, Pennsylvania in 1999.

Kathe enjoyed traveling with her friends and family. She was an accomplished bead artist and created beautiful beaded jewelry. She was a collector of Hallmark Keepsake ornaments and decorated multiple trees at Christmas. Kathe enjoyed learning about American Indians and their artwork. She visited museums and events around the country to learn about the various tribal communities in the US.

Kathryn is survived by her sister, Linda Lewis and husband Rob, and her nephew, Cory.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Susie in 1961.

Services and Interment will be private.
