John “Jack” D. Krisciunas, 80 of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday April 16, 2024 at Eagleview Landing in Exton.
He was the loving husband of Virginia Oburgh Krisciunas.
Born June 13, 1943, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph Krisciunas and the late Bridget Collins Krisciunas.
Jack grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from Father Judge High School and LaSalle University with a degree in Business.
He started his career in Real Estate with IBM, where he met his wife, and then retired from Crown Castle as a Real Estate Project Manager spanning a career over 35 years. Once he retired, he enjoyed traveling with his wife to Ireland, Alaska and many other cruise destinations.
Jack was a Veteran of the US Navy Reserves during the Vietnam War and was always extremely proud of serving his country.
He enjoyed doing projects around his home of 38 years where he built and fixed everything with his beloved collection of tools. Later in life, he loved spending time with his Grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Kelly (Joseph) Simkovich, Kevin (Felicia) Krisciunas, John & Jeff Krisciunas and his grandchildren, Eloise & Tanner Simkovich, Gianina Krisciunas and John Adam Krisciunas and his brother, Joseph (Helene) Krisciunas.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 10 – 10:45am at the St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Road Media, PA 19063, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
